“I’m the Social Media Manager, so I’m responsible for writing and scheduling all the content across our social channels,” Ciara says. “I love getting to know our incredible portfolio of properties better and working closely with Megan, our magazine editor.”
Ciara joined Provence Holidays in September 2024 and has spent the past seven months bringing the brand to life across Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn. With a background in social media and luxury branding, she brings a thoughtful eye to everything she posts - making sure each reel, story, and carousel reflects the quality and charm of the region.
Originally from London, Ciara began her career in the luxury spirits industry before relocating to the French Alps. It was there that she transitioned into the travel and hospitality world - combining her love for content creation with a deep interest in experience-led travel.
Property spotlight | La Roseraie
“La Roseraie is just stunning. I love the building itself - it has such character - but it’s really the gardens that won me over,” she says. “There is so much space to explore, and the views stretch from the village of Bonnieux across to the Vaucluse Mountains and even Mont Ventoux on a clear day.”
When asked to choose a favourite villa, Ciara immediately points to La Roseraie in Bonnieux. This elegant property is set on a hillside, surrounded by colourful landscaped gardens and views across the entire Luberon Valley. With a large pool, tennis court, and multiple terraces, La Roseraie is ideal for big groups looking to slow down and spend time outdoors. “It feels very peaceful, very Provençal - and you get this sense of privacy and stillness without ever feeling remote.”
Favourite property for big groups | Bastide Lacoste
“It is perfect for big groups because there’s so much to do - both together and independently,” she explains. “You’ve got a tennis court, putting green, driving range, and even a two-hole golf course. It is ideal for mixed ages and different interests.”
For larger gatherings, Bastide Lacoste is Ciara’s go-to recommendation. Located just outside the village of Lacoste, this 15-person villa blends Provençal charm with luxurious amenities and generous outdoor spaces.
Inside, the villa offers multiple reception rooms and beautifully decorated bedrooms, so guests can enjoy group time without feeling crowded. “There is also an amazing summer kitchen, which makes it really easy to gather everyone together for big al fresco meals.”
Favourite family-friendly property | Mas des Étoiles
“It is one of the most unique properties in our portfolio - there really is something for everyone,” she says. “You have these separate gardens for adults to relax and kids to run around, plus a huge pool with a bar, a gym, and even an arcade.”
Ciara’s top pick for families is Mas des Étoiles, a playful yet luxurious property designed with both children and adults in mind. Set within spacious grounds, Mas des Étoiles also features a boules court, trampoline, and a chicken coop for little ones to discover. “It is a place where families can truly relax, reconnect, and spend quality time together - without having to leave the property if they do not want to.”
“Discovering all the amazing and unique things to do in Provence and along the Côte d’Azur is such a fun part of the role. There’s always something new to uncover, and I love being able to share that with our audience.”
“I always enjoy posting about our magazine articles. They tend to perform really well, and our followers love getting that local insight,” she says. “It is also a great way to highlight experiences you might not find in a typical travel guide.”
As someone who works closely with the magazine, Ciara loves sharing content that goes beyond the surface and gives followers a more immersive look at life in Provence.. Some of her favourite posts to date include:
Gardens in Provence – “It was such a beautiful roundup and visually stunning.”
Best Beaches in the Côte d’Azur – “A great example of how we cover different corners of the region, from inland villages to the coast.”
Each post aims to inspire curiosity and help travellers plan an experience that feels personal and rewarding.
Recommended experience
“I had no idea how deeply connected daily life in Provence is to the seasons until I started working here,” she says. “The markets are such a perfect reflection of that - full of beautiful produce, local crafts, and a real sense of community.”
When it comes to experiences in The Alpilles, Ciara recommends starting with the markets. For those staying in a villa, she suggests using the market as inspiration for a homemade feast. “Many of our properties have beautiful outdoor kitchens, and shopping locally gives you the chance to enjoy real Provençal flavours at home.” Want something more hands-off? “Our concierge team can arrange a private chef, so you can enjoy seasonal cooking without lifting a finger,” she adds.
Whether she is sharing a quiet moment from a hilltop village or spotlighting a villa with room for the whole family, Ciara’s goal is always the same: to bring the spirit of Provence a little closer to home. Follow along as she continues to explore the region through local stories, seasonal highlights, and those small details that make a holiday truly memorable.
À bientôt,
